My Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Evie wanted to take part in a challenge and raise money for a charity. We, like many others, have lost people close to us to cancer so we want to do our bit to help raise as much as we can to find the cure! This March we are walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer. This will be a big challenge for Evie as she only has little legs and that is a lot of steps! Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
