My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer. Help me Walk All Over Cancer and fund life-saving research by making a donation to my page. A couple of years ago my mum was diagnosed with cancer, through the help of different agencies she made a full recovery. The memories of that time will be with me for the rest of my life, watching her struggle each day to do basic tasks while her treatment was going on. Without the support of Cancer Research UK I doubt the treatments and support would be available, and I doubt my mum would be here today. I'm hoping that spending some time each day in March completing 10000 steps and raising some funds will help Cancer Research UK to provide more support to those who need it when they go through the same thing. After seeing what it takes fighting the disease, I don't think walking 10000 steps per day is much in comparison.
