Our hockey club is cycling a total of 3000 miles in the month of September for CRUK.
My Story
Thank you for visiting our Cancer Research UK Cycle 300 page. We have decided to take this challenge and make it our own. This September, GKT Hockey Club aims to cycle a total of 3000 miles between our members. As a medical school based hockey club, we have seen the impacts of cancer on patients and their families, as well as having our own families affected by this illness. We are passionate about bringing forward the day in which all cancers can be cured. Every penny makes a huge difference to vital cancer research so we would be so grateful for any amount donated to help this cause!

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
