My Story
For my birthday this year, I thought I would do something a little different. On the 21st of October 2018, for my 28th birthday, I will be running the Amsterdam Marathon to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Cancer is something that has touched members of my family – my father has prostate cancer (we’re hoping his treatment will be entirely successful), my aunt was suddenly and fatally taken with a brain tumour in May, and my mother is a 10-year survivor of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Cancer affects the sufferers and their loved ones as well. My aim is to raise £5,000 for the charity. This is a huge total, I know. If I get to my £5,000 target, in sympathy with so many who go through chemotherapy, I will be shaving my entire body the day before the race, in Amsterdam. Except the eyebrows - they’re my crown jewels!! So, if you would like to see me hairless head to toe (somewhere between Jason Statham and Dr Evil), please donate what you can to my cause – through the link below. Big or small, everything counts. #HopingToBeHairless Andrew
