My Story
Cancer has effected and still is effecting many peoples lives, whether it be a family member or friend. Five and half years ago my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer. Understandably, it was a very difficult time for me but I had no idea how hard it must have been for her. I had no idea what to do and I hated the fact that I couldn’t control what was happening to her. I am proud to say, that she has now been clear for almost five years. However, you are never completely at ease and constant worrying with every check up. I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
