My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page! I’m walking 60 miles with my dog Ember, and friends dogs throughout April to help Stand Up To Cancer! In the last 12 months, 6 loved ones were diagnosed with cancer which has significantly affected their lives and of those that love them. The cancers diagnosed are so different; Peritoniel Cancer, Throat Cancer, Stomach Cancer, Prostate Cancer and incredibly rare Biliery Tract and Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (PMP) cancer. It's astonishing the treatment options which already exist, some of the procedures are not far off in comparison to landing on the moon! Funding for continued live saving research is essential to Stand Up To Cancer! I will walk 60 miles with the dogs for Martin and Paul who are brothers. I will walk in memory of Marcus Kaya Teacha & Conor Nutt who passed over in 2023 and my Uncle who recently passed in March 2024. I want to walk for all those affected by cancer.
