My Story
Over the years, a lot of progress has been made in the fight against cancer. However, every year more than 150,000 people die of this disease, a number that is still way too high! To bring the number down, we need to keep funding life-saving research! This month, Ginevra (the dog š¶) and I (the human š) are going to raise money for Cancer Research UK, one of the main charities that supports scientists in the fight against cancer. To do this, we are going to walk 100 km (62 miles) throughout April, and we are going to share regular updates. Mainly pictures of Ginevra, obviously. She doesn't know why the extra walking, but she will definitely appreciate the extra attention and hopefully you, and many other people, will support us by donating to fund cancer research. Rest assured that Ginevra will continue to get long walks even after the fundraising ends. But together, we may help people with cancer have a chance at enjoying some long and nice walks too!
