Our motivation for the month is all those close to our hearts that have been affected by cancer.
My Story
Thank you for visiting our page! This is a joint fundraising effort by Kez and Meg, so join us as we give up any and all alcohol for the entirety of January, in order to help the wonderful efforts of Cancer Research UK. Last year, Kez's father was diagnosed with throat cancer and thanks to the wonderful research that is put into cancer treatments (and his own strength and determination!) he beat the Big C and is fighting fit today; as a family, we are insanely lucky, fortunate and thankful to still have him. Some families are not so lucky. Meg lost her grandfather two years ago. Despite beating lung cancer and being given the all clear, he sadly passed after the cancer spread to the bone. But with the help from charities like Cancer Research UK, we are fighting back. Any donation or sharing of this page would be greatly appreciated - help us smash our target! All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
