My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps each day throughout the month to help beat cancer. Many of us have lost loved ones to cancer or knows of someone who has lost their battle against this horrible disease. I will be walking in memory of my wonderful mum and auntie who sadly both lost their battle and for my amazing dad who is currently fighting his own battle and undergoing treatment. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
