Irene Dixon 76 - Metastatic Ovarian Cancer - 1997 - Gran Len Prescott 83 - Oesophageal Cancer - 2004 - Grandad Jessie Prescott 90 - Bladder Cancer - 2012 - Gran Margaret Dixon 68 - Oesophageal Cancer - 2015 - Mum I have 4 reasons to Race for life. 4 times Cancer has turned up in my family uninvited and ruined everything. I hate it and I Race for Life in the hope that at some point soon, no other family will ever get that dreadful news. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
