I’m raising as much as I can to contribute to the research in to cancer. Which hopefully one day will find a cure and save so many lives.
My Story
My father has been diagnosed twice with two different cancers. Fortunately for us, he has beaten both, however, there are so many others not so fortunate. I also have a very close friend who is like a second mother to me currently going through treatment for cancer. So this is close to my heart right now. I want to raise money for them all. The survivors, those being treated right now and those that very sadly lost their battle. I want to raise money to put towards the fantastic research by this charity in the hope that they will one day find a cure. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
