My Story
At the beginning of 2021, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 bowel cancer. Cancer is a brutal disease and in a pandemic it is amplified beyond belief. But fast forward to 2023, and I am two years clear. Cancer research and the Bowelbabe, saved my life and when I was having chemo I promised myself that I would run every year I was well enough to. We ran our first Race for Life last year as a family and raised an incredible amount of money. This year it’s just me and Steven doing our bit to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
