I'm running for Gran and Grandad, who were both infectiously funny, generous, and kind in so many ways. I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner.
In memory of

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. My family, unfortunately like most in the UK, have been directly impacted by Cancer. It's for this reason I'm running with pride and in memory of my two grandparents who always encouraged me to push myself, and to do my best. This run is for them. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so if you can, please do leave a donation.

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
