My Story

UPDATE- Can you help. I have passed my target of £25 but if I get £125 sponsorship money i can claim my Humphrey Horse teddy bear on the day of the ride. My total so far is £87.50 so i only need another £37.50 and i really would like Humphrey Horse. xxxxx For the third year running I am taking part in Ride For Life on my horse Barry. I will not tell you all the story again but this ride is in honor of my brave brother Barry and sister Val who lost the battle, my brother Mike and niece Wendy who fought the battle and won and lastly to my brother-in-law Barrie who has recently started treatment. Keep fighting Barrie. If you can donate £1 it would be much appreciated. The compulsory sponsorship donation is £25 on top of my entry fee so i'm keeping fingers crossed that i have got 25 friends. I know that is a hard target to reach before anyone mentions it! Thanking you all in advance. xxx Our popular Ride for Life in aid of Cancer Research UK returns this year on Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th June. The course covers 8 miles of off road riding across Speedgate Farm. Ride for Life has raised over £200,000 in previous years and we hope that you'll help add to that total this year.
