Stamford Pretty Muddy 5k 2018
So here we are getting muddy again!! Although I’m no runner and most definitely not capable of a 5k run, chuck in a few obstacles covered in mud and I’m there!! Which is pretty bizarre for a clean freak like myself!! I won’t be the fastest to finish but I will reach the end and have some fun along the way. For once, the mudder the better! But there is a serious point to all this and that’s where you come in! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm putting myself out there and taking part in the Race for Life Pretty Muddy. By doing something out of the ordinary (for me anyway!) I’m hoping you’ll spare a few pennies to encourage me and together we can raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. CAUSE
Breast cancer
With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
