My sister in law and I are walking all over cancer for our darling Craigy, please support us!!
In memory of
Craig Robert Mitchell
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer sooner. Help me Walk All Over Cancer and fund life-saving research by sponsoring me. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK. In November 2016, my darling big brother, Danielle's darling husband and my mum's darling son Craig was sadly diagnosed with advanced oesophageal cancer and we were told that time was precious. We were given some hope that chemotherapy would slow things down but sadly it was not to be and on 14th December, we were told that the cancer was too aggressive and that nothing more could be done. Our hearts are completely shattered!! Craig is now in his final days and life is never going to be the same. His adored son will be left without a daddy, his nephew without an uncle and his entire family will be lost without him. It is too late for Craig but we will spend the rest of our live's raising funds for research in to this despicable cancer. There has to be a way that this cancer can be caught earlier and treated better so that people don't need to go through the heartbreak and devastation that we are. We love you Craig, always always, forever forever!! Never forgotten and in our hearts until the end of time!! Sadly Craig passed on 15/01/2017. 8 weeks from diagnosis. More must be done to stop this happening to more families.
CAUSE
Oesophageal cancer
Oesophageal cancer rates are rising in the UK, and it's one of the hardest cancers to treat. It’s the sixth most common cause of cancer death and survival rates are poor. Help fund one of Cancer Research UK's top priorities – finding ways to improve survival from the disease.
