My Story

Many things in our lives may seem to be on hold, but sadly cancer is not. Cancer sufferers will need even more help at the moment, and it is important that research continues. So, I'll be taking part in the Race for Life at Home this year instead of my usual jog around Blackheath! I will be jogging 5 miles instead of 5K, but in my kitchen! I won't cheat; I will be following a timed fast walk/jog with added exercises online. Every pound you can donate will go towards Cancer Research UK’s ground-breaking work, so please, if you can, donate to my Giving Page today. I know that for many, times are hard, so I do not expect donations, but any amount would be most gratefully received. If you’d like to join the Race for Life at Home community, then sign up at raceforlife.org/athome We might be apart, but we’re doing this together.

CAUSE

All Cancer Types

Our work has helped double cancer survival in the UK in the last 50 years. Despite this incredible progress, there’s more to be done. Nearly 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. Help us carry out world-class research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer.
