I was diagnosed with breast cancer in November and given the all clear after radiotherapy in March
My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. I found a lump in my breast in November and was diagnosed with Grade 1, stage 1 cancer. I have been incredibly fortunate - mine was a relatively easy treatment and I have now been given the all clear. Millions of people are not so fortunate. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
