Georgina takes on Sugar Free February
So, i LOVE the sweet stuff. Donuts, cake, jellied sweets, sour sweets, hard boiled sweets... Just LOVE them! I could happily polish off a "sharing" sized packed of haribo in one sitting. With another one on the side for afters... Not proud of it but when the sugar calls, you answer, right? Now, I do exercise and go to the gym and walks etc so I'm not "unhealthy". Everything in moderation, yeah? But i realised my sugar addiction was getting bad when I would have cravings in the morning, ignore them and then by the end of the day have a raging headache for lack of sugar intake. So when I saw that one of my friends was doing No Sugar February, I thought what the hell?! Not going to do me any harm, in fact, it was probably going to be a good thing to try and train my body in to realising that I can function without that quick energy boost. And why not raise money at the same time. Win win situation going on here!! Cancer Research UK is so important. We need to beat cancer. I know far too many people who have died or been effected by this horrible disease, adn it needs to stop. Cancer kills. It's not glorious. It's not a joke and it's definitely not nice to see someone you love to be slowly taken away from you. So I'm asking you, my trusty reader, to dig deep and donate. It could only be £2 or £1 but every little bit makes a difference to someones life. Please help me reach my goal of £100 by the end of February. Thank you!
