My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. Cancer ruins so many life each year and destroys families and it’s time to beat it! I lost my grandad to cancer in 2012 and it broke my heart. So I will taking part in the race for life for him as well as the people who have beat it, fighting it or sadly lost their battle 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
