My Story
Hi, I’m Georgia — I’m 20 years old and I’m running 16K to raise £1,000 for Cancer Research UK. In my lifetime, I’ve experienced the pain of losing my grandad to cancer — a loss that still stays with me. Sadly, someone very close to me is now fighting for their life against this horrible disease. Watching a loved one go through such a difficult battle is truly heartbreaking — and it’s pushed me to take action. I may not be a scientist or a doctor, but I can run. So I’m lacing up my trainers and taking on 16K in honour of everyone affected by cancer — to help fund life-saving research and support future breakthroughs. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to a world where cancer is no longer something we fear. Please support me on this journey. Donate today — and be part of the fight. Thank you so much 🩷

All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
