My Story
Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page. The money I raise will help fund life-saving research and to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. As we know, cancer is a horrible illness, close to home for me and for many nowadays... As I have grown up I have realised how much cancer affects so many people, no matter their age. On the 20th June 2021 I will be doing a skydive, jumping 12,000ft out of a plane. This is something I have always wanted to do so why not make it worthwhile and raise money for such an amazing cause. The reason I have chosen Cancer Research is to try and prevent this horrible illness ruining anymore lives directly or indirectly. Currently, along with thousands of others, my uncle Jonny , just aged 48 is living with this unforgiving disease and I want to play my part to help beat it. Unfortunately, my Grandad John passed away from lung cancer 26 years ago and not meeting my Grandad has made me want to prevent this from happening to others! Although sadly it wont bring him back, I'm hoping that the money raised can be used to help researchers gather more information on Cancer and most importantly try and find a cure! I would be truly grateful for any donations, no matter how big or small.
