George's Race for Life
London - Finsbury Park 5k 2019
Sat 20 Jul 2019 - Sat 20 Jul 2019
I'm taking part in Race for Life, in memory of my mother, to raise money to beat cancer sooner.
In memory of
Julia Taylor
22nd Oct 1966 - 20th Aug 2017
For the first time I will be running Race for Life to raise money for Cancer Research. In 2015 my mum, Julia Taylor, was diagnosed with cancer. She was told her cancer was incurable and was only given 6 months to live. She eventually lost her battle in August 2017 aged just 50. She was a fighter until the end and now I want to join the fight against cancer in her memory. Cancer Research has done incredible work to help many people beat many forms of cancer and I want to help them so less families have to face what mine went through. I am running 5k on the 20th July at Finsbury Park to help raise money for cancer research so that one day there could be a cure, so no one else has to lose ones they love to this disgusting disease.
