My Story
I'm taking the 100 pressups a day challenge in September to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. Most of us, especially as we get into our middle to later life know someone who didn't get their chance to spend their days in the sun or are living with the consequences. My first encounter with Cancer was when a 13 year old at my comprehensive suddenly didn't come to school. We knew he was ill, I didn't know what Leukemia was. I still think of him when I see a Freddo Frog chocolate bar. Alex. You're not forgotten. This of course was not the last. This is for them, for you - and to transform me into a 64 year old beast , obviously.... This won't be easy, any notion of upper body fitness took a back seat in 2024 when I had shingles, I still have Post Herpetic Neuropathy and associated pain. I know I cant do 100 out of the box, and its a long time since my daily routine included this kind of activity - but I WILL do 100 a day. Your support is greatly appreciated 👍 I'll report daily on my progress.
