My Story
In 2014, I was firstly diagnosed with Testicular Cancer but it was then established that I had Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. The treatment was tough going. Infusions that were anything up to 10 hours long, an intrathecal infusion in my spine that left me with an infection in brain and suspected heart attacks to the 3 lots of 24 hour infusions of high dose methotrexate resulting in 5 day stays in hospital. I received fantastic and wonderful care during the whole thing but most important was the love and support that I received from Jacqueline, my wife, and my wonderful girls, Alice and Olivia who kept me smiliong day after day. We managed a lot of laughs through the whole thing and celebrated by going to Walt Disney World in 2015. I am still here today and to help support Cancer Research I have been actively seeking some way to raise money for Cancer Research. To this end, I will be taking on the Walk All Over Cancer challenge of 10,000+ steps per day during March trying to raise as much money as possible. Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer sooner. Help me Walk All Over Cancer and fund life-saving research by sponsoring me. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
