Shine London 2019 - Half Marathon

Charlotte and I are undertaking this for the third consecutive year in the hope of finally breaking the 4 hour mark! We are walking for our mums, my mum Clodagh who sadly lost her battle in November 2017 and Charlotte’s mum, Laura, who is still fighting. Watching someone you love fight cancer is something that no family should have to endure, and we know that there are so many good causes out there but this one is so close to both our hearts. CAUSE
Bowel cancer
Over the past 40 years there's been dramatic progress in tackling bowel cancer and half of people diagnosed will now survive for at least 10 years. But with bowel cancer still claiming around 43 lives each day, more research still needs to be done. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat the disease.
