Grandad Danny, Auntie Diana and Katies mum Kathy ❤️❤️❤️
In memory of
Diana
My Grandad was diagnosed with mouth cancer 6 months after my Nan passed away... we thought it was the excuse he was looking for to give up and join my Nan but his sheer stubbornness and the fantastic care and support from all the medical professionals helped him survive and nearly 11 years on I am happy to say he is still a stubborn 81 year old. He had many operations and procedures and still has even though he is cancer free. My Mum's best friend Diana unfortunately wasn't a lucky one... she was diagnosed with bowel cancer and recovered well... but life threw a spanner in the works and her cancer came back with full force... she passed away her body riddled with this horrid disease. Last year my Fiancée Katie's Mum Kathy was diagnosed with breast cancer she had to have a full mastectomy in her left breast and opted for reconstruction surgery. This was done by her being cut hip to hip and fat removed to rebuild her breast. She was told she wouldn't need Chemo at first but the cancer grew from 3 small tumours to one massive tumour meaning Kathy would need Chemo and radio. Kathy now has just finished all her treatment and has remained strong throughout. I believe if it wasn't for the information Doctors and Nurses have through constant research my grandad wouldn't be with us now and Kathy wouldn't have received all the help support and guidance she needed. Nowadays cancer affects too many people. Let's all support this fantastic cause and walk run or jog 5k to help the ongoing research needed to help people like Kathy and my Grandad. Danny ❤️ Kathy ❤️ Diana ❤️?⭐️
