My Story
Jessica and I have decide to go outside of our comfort zone and do something neither of us have ever done before. I am pretty sure I have always said I would never do it either but what can really go wrong when it is a walking event? Every day, our mum is fighting a battle with a brain tumour and we want to raise a minimum of £250 but obviously we would love a lot more (will gradually increase the target when we reach it) to not only improve the check-ups, treatments and support she recieves, but to improve these facilities for everyone else too. We are very lucky, she is still with us, but some people are not as lucky as us. Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.

CAUSE
Brain cancers
Each year in the UK, more than 12,288 people are diagnosed with tumours that start in the brain or elsewhere in the central nervous system. That’s 35 people every single day. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat brain cancer.
