Those that know me will be shocked to see that I have signed up for this, I am probably one of the laziest people ever! I wanted to take on this challenge to get myself motivated to actually exercise and take myself out of my comfort zone. I want to be able to raise funds to support Pancreatic Cancer, as it only receives less than 2% of the funding towards its research. I lost my mum Mandy to this horrible disease and I'm doing this in her memory (she would be more shocked than anyone to see my take this on!). Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives.
