Please help me raise much needed funds for Cancer Research UK, so we can beat Cancer sooner
In memory of
Dad and Grandad
My Story
Cancer Research UK is a charity extremely close to my heart. Losing my Dad to this horrible disease when I was only 17 still seems so unfair, and since then I have seen far too many close friends and relatives suffer from it, all of them fighting so bravely in their own ways. As sad as it is to not have Dad here to see everything that's going on today, I am grateful that we had an extra precious few years with him that were thanks to the treatments and research available at the time. 13 years on it's amazing to see the breakthroughs that have happened, and every year more discoveries are being made and improved treatments are becoming available to patients. I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to help raise the much needed funds for this crucial research. The sad truth is that 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound donated makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now- no matter how small the amount. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK. Thank you so much for your help!
