My Story
I lost my own father to cancer when I was just 9 years old, he was only in his early 30's - the age I am now. Last year my husband and I had a lovely little boy and named him after my dad. Since becoming a wife and a mother it has made me appreciate how important my family are to me. And now that I am at the age my dad was when he unfortunately lost his battle with cancer, I'd like to raise money and help save lives so that hopefully one day other families won't have to go through what we did when we lost our dad. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
