Libby’s Race for Life
London - Finsbury Park 10k 2019
Sat 20 Jul 2019 - Sat 20 Jul 2019
On the 25th June 2015 Eric Gee lost his battle with liver and bowel cancer. On the 16th May 2019 Joe Farrell lost his battle with lung and brain cancer. We don’t want to lose anyone else to cancer.
In memory of
Eric Gee and Joseph Farrell
Cancer doesn’t care who you are. Eric Gee was a strong man, whom throughout his life was the strongest, most caring man you could meet. On 25th June 2015 liver and bowel cancer beat him. Joe Farrell was the smartest, most intellectual and enthusiastic man you can meet. Despite 2 heart attacks and 2 seizures due to both lung and brain cancer, he was stable in hospital for a week, before passing away on the 16th May 2019 after a long battle with cancer. So many of our family have faced this awful disease, but we want to do something about it. On the 29th June 2019 we will be taking part in the Derby Markeaton Park 5K mud run, and on the 20th July 2019 we will be taking part in the London Finsbury Park 10K. Please, if you can spare any money, donate to our cause. (And maybe come along to cheer us on!) The Gee-Farrell Family x
