My Story
Set myself a more than achievable fundraising target for the next 6 months! This isn’t my first Race for Life, and won’t be my last. I will forever be running for Bams, my #1 supporter. I lost my grandad in 2020, and this year I have lost another relative who sadly passed away after a short battle of Pancreatic Cancer. Another family friend has also fought Breast Cancer this year 🩷 No money will ever be enough to bring any of our loved ones back but we can help stop it from happening again. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
