My Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I'm letting my dog take the lead on beating cancer and walking every single day of the month to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Cancer Research UK are the only charity fighting over 200 types of cancer and receive no government funding for their work. Every step taken towards beating cancer relies on every pound donated. Please show your support by sponsoring me. Last year seemed like it would never end! My family experienced personal loss of my much loved Uncle Pete, who was a kind and quiet man but who was so supportive of me, Rich and the kids. We also said goodbye to our fantastic neighbour, Dorothy who was a great character and would do anything for us nags next door! I would also like to raise funds in memory of my friend and work colleague Maria's husband Craig Bennett who devastatingly lost his battle with Melanoma aged just 37. Craig supported Maria and Dr Mz helping out with a fundraiser, shaking buckets on a cold November night! Finally, In memory of my Nana Bo, (Nana Llanelli( who passed away in 2002 after a long illness through Lung Cancer. I love you and miss you every day! Let's hope this money will help to find treatments and a cure!
