This Race is very special to me. I had a single mastectomy to remove my cancer yesterday ???
Cancer is happening right now, to me and lots of others!! ??? Nobody can prepare you for diagnosis, but a very important word followed mine 'treatable!' This word isn't always given and I am so lucky that my cancer is treatable!!! I never thought words like Chemotherapy, biopsy, mastectomy would become part of life for me. Fighting for my normal life and fighting for my hair has become normal! So this is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money so that more people can have their diagnosis given with the word 'treatable!' ???? 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
