My Story
I lost my beautiful wife Julie to this dreadful disease two days before Christmas. Julie passed away at home less than three months after diagnosis and it left our family devastated. My lovely sister in law Debbie suggested that we do the Race for Life in memory of Julie (known to her family as Jills), and over sixty of us will be participating on Sunday, including many from the school she worked at, Mildmay Primary School in Tile Kiln, as well as many from the other two loves of my life, Spurs and Chelmsford City FC. I would be eternally grateful for any donation you can make, all of which will go to funding further research into this awful disease that leaves so many families heartbroken. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
