Longest Day Up is a motorbike challenge to travel from Lands End to John O'Groats on the longest day of the year between sunrise and sunset. Bikes must have been bought for no more than £300. I only passed my MOD 2 back in Sept 2019, so am still new to this exciting new world. Longest trip in the saddle to date is 160 miles in a single day. This challenge of completing the 1000 miles in 24 hours on a £300 bike using no motorways, is mammoth and not to be underestimated. Doing the same challenge in a top of the range BMW car would not be easy!! All the hard work on my Ebay special Suzuki was all sorted for last year events (thanks Matt for sorting), so just needs an MOT and fingers crossed all ready to go. All about getting miles in the seat now. We have all at some point encountered cancer, so a wonderful cause and will strive us all to the end – just need the bike to hold its end of the bargain and get me there!! Looking forward being part of a great team doing this challenge for a great cause. Thanks for the support!!
