My Story
Hey Everyone, UPDATE! Earlier this year we did two 24-hour livestreams in memory of our friend Anna, who passed away last year while working for Cancer Research UK. We are very grateful to everyone who tuned in and donated to those streams and are proud of the amount raised so far. We will be closing the fundraiser at the end of this weekend (this week marks one year since Anna passed away, so it seemed an appropriate time to bring things to a close). To mark this, I will be doing a final set of streams over this Friday-Sunday period, totaling 24 hours. As before, it would be greatly appreciated if people could tune in, share this page, donate if you can or even just send messages of support! We don't have a set target but are hoping to raise as much money as possible in her name to help Cancer Research UK and the vital work that they do. We have raised about £150 so far including gift aid and would be overjoyed if we could continue to add to that before we close this off on Sunday evening. After our previous streams covered Dragon Age Origins and Warhammer 3 Total War, this time I'm going old school to one of my favourite games of all time: Medieval 2 Total War. After a random draw (by DND dice roll) I will be playing as England in the Main Campaign on Normal Difficulty and will be attempting to beat the long campaign in 24 hours. In honour of Anna as a proud Scotswoman, I will have the additional objective of ensuring Scotland's faction survives the campaign, which as Medieval 2 fans will know is normally not the case, especially when the player controls England! So if fancy a break from watching the world cup and want to watch one man's (probably doomed) attempt to keep England and Scotland united, please check out the stream! My Twitch Link is below: https://www.twitch.tv/knightinspace94 Stream Times will be as follows Friday 25th November: 9:30AM-5:30PM Saturday 26th November 9:30AM-3:30PM Sunday 27th November: 9:30AM-7:30PM Please donate whatever you can in support of this final stream, the vital work cancer research UK do, and most of all in the memory of a fantastic woman who was taken from us far too soon.
