My Story
Another year has passed and once again I have entered The Race for Life. This will be the 17th time and I am grateful that I am still in a position to contribute to such a worthwhile cause. Many of you have generously supported me in previous years - thank you so much. If you feel you are able to again this year, that would be great. If not positive thoughts on June 4th would be appreciated! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
