Gabrielle's TikTok Skipping Challenge Giving Page

Hi, welcome to my fundraising page. I’m taking on 100 skips a day in February to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. Knowing you or someone you love is battling Cancer and there’s not much you can do to help the situation is unsettling. However, once you receive the good news: having conquered the full consequences of a life-threatening illness - the distress lightens. In 2021, my dearest and active Godmother privately suffered the ambush of breast cancer. Through all her pain and uncertainty she remained faithful, hopeful and joyful. Today we celebrate her success; she’s 1 year clear of any tumour, and counting! A close friend of mine was only 15 years old when faced with Hodgkins Lymphoma, an uncommon cancer. It carelessly affected her education and sense of reality. Now she testifies of her 15 year defeat, and counting! Both these women live an intentionally healthy life - and did so prior to their cancerous hardship. I believe they were purely given a load fate knew they could carry. Today, they stand strong in their triumph, with no visible trace of what they went through; prosperous in all their endeavours and a true blessing to me. I challenge myself to press on with my skips just as they had pressed on during a testing time. All money raised by me is physically going to Cancer research, but spiritually granting others on a cancer journey to have the resources, and divine grace my darlings possessed to conquer cancer.
