I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer. My auntie this year was sadly diagnosed with lung cancer and I am doing it in honour of her to help beat it together.
My Story
This Year it came as a shock to me and my family that my beautiful auntie was diagnosed with cancer. During This time it took longer then we anticipated to find out it was lung cancer as the pandemic meant that appointments and diagnosis was slowed down. This made us so angry as her treatments now been set back. I wanted to do this run in honour of my brave auntie who’s fighting this horrible disease so she knows we’re here for her and that together we will beat it. Please Donate to this run as it will mean a great deal to me and my family and anyone who’s had a family member with it knows it is hard, but together we can show support and beat it.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
