My Story
Though our lives may seem to be on hold at the moment, there is one thing that hasn’t stopped and that’s cancer. It has been nearly 5 years since I was diagnosed with breast cancer and I am very grateful for every day I can spend with my family. I would not do it without my two boys, family and friends and also the amazing NHS staff. This would have been my 7th Race for Life but due to the pandemic I am not able to take part so me and my husband decided to take part in the Race for Life at Home. Instead of our 5 km run we are going to do a 5 km walk up and down the stairs. We have to walk up and down 6000 stairs and we will do this over a period of seven days with support of our son Ollie. Every pound you can donate will go towards Cancer Research UK’s ground-breaking work, so please donate to my Giving Page today! Please, Please, Please. If you’d like to join the Race for Life at Home community, then sign up at raceforlife.org/athome We might be apart, but we’re doing this together.
