My Story

Why I’m Taking Part in Read Every Day November 💗📚 Cancer is something that has touched my life in a very personal way. I have friends and family who have faced cancer and thankfully beaten it, but heartbreakingly, I have also known people who have lost their lives to this cruel disease. Seeing how cancer affects not only the person diagnosed but also the people who love and care for them has made me realise just how important cancer research and support really are. That’s why I’m taking part in Read Every Day November to raise money for Cancer Research UK. I wanted to do something meaningful, however small, to help support the incredible work being done to understand cancer, develop better treatments and improve the lives of those affected by it. Every donation, no matter how big or small, can help fund vital research and bring us one step closer to a future where more people survive cancer. I hope that the money raised will help give someone else the chance to beat their diagnosis, spend more precious time with their loved ones and make memories that might otherwise have been lost. I also want to help support those who are watching someone they love go through cancer. A diagnosis doesn't just affect one person; it affects families, friends and entire communities. Nobody should have to face that journey feeling alone, and I hope that continued research and support can make things a little brighter for everyone affected. Reading every day throughout November is my little way of helping make a difference. Every page I read is a reminder of why I'm doing this and of the people who have inspired me to take part.
