My Story
So as many of you know I have stage 2b locally advanced cervical cancer which has spread into my lymph nodes and which is inoperable. I am married with 2 children a 3 year old girl and a 4 month old boy and my cancer was diagnosed when my son was just 12 weeks old. I have just started chemoradiation and have several hard weeks ahead of me and I am determined to do something positive with a rubbish situation. I decided to raise awareness of cervical cancer but I also want to raise money towards improvements in the early diagnosis and management of all cancers; as the sooner its caught the better! Most people who know me also know how much I love maltesers, marshmallows, pink and white mushrooms and shrimps and so to show how serious I am I have chosen to give up all sweets and chocolate for February! I would like to raise a minimum of £10 for every day without my staple diet of yummy treats but the more I can raise the better! As I am all too aware cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
