Friends of Clive Barley Memorial Fund

This page has been set up by members of the Cancer Research UK Ambassador Team in memory of our dearly loved and much missed friend Clive Barley. Clive was a good friend to many of us and a particularly special friend to some, whether as someone to chat to, a tireless running buddy or a fellow campaigner. His rock solid values and dependability, his gentle self-deprecating humour and his twinkly smile helped light the way for those of us dealing with cancer ourselves or among our friends and family. We must also pay tribute to the outstanding campaigning and advocacy work undertaken by Clive, sharing his own personal story to raise awareness and call for action on bowel cancer prevention and early diagnosis. Some examples of this work can be found in the pictures below. We would love you to give to support life saving research in Clive’s memory. Clive was friends with people from all walks of life, however different. He would remind us that most of Cancer Research UK’s income comes from the sum of many small donations, and that a lot of people giving a little bit, be it money or time, and working together in good spirit adds up to so much more. Please give what you can, he would like that.
