My Story
For the month of May I’ll be participating in Cancer Research UK’s “Wheel 100 miles challenge” to raise money for live-saving research and treatment of cancers. One in two of us will get cancer during our lifetime and we always assume that if we’re young, fit and healthy, then it won’t happen to us which isn’t the case, sadly. This challenge is going to be a tough one, but I’m determined to do it for the loved ones we’ve lost, those rebuilding their lives and everyone in between💪🏻 I’ll be completing the challenge by any means necessary and I’d love to raise some money whilst doing it so if you’d like to sponsor me, you can do so on the link below- no donation is too small, it all goes towards helping to save lives so every little helps. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
