In memory of

Glenys Forti

15 Nov 1946 - 12 Jul 2016

This is my 4th Race For Life I have entered since moving to the UK, however this time is has a much deeper meaning to me. As most of you may know, my amazing Grandma sadly passed away from cancer last July. She was diagnosed with terminal cancer in June, told she had 3 months left and we only got 4 precious weeks with her.
Watching what she went through day in and day out was the most difficult thing our family have ever had to deal with. Nobody deserves cancer, I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
I am possibly one the laziest & unfit human beings you will ever meet & I have set myself a challenge to compete this 10k run for my Grandma. I am going to raise as much money as I can so that other people have a fighting chance and don't have to go through what we did.
I miss my Grandma so much and think about her every day. Please help me raise money and make her proud.
