My Story
I am sure that Cancer has affected nearly everyone reading this. Although my efforts are slim in comparison to others, I am trying to do my bit to raise money in the hopes that it will help. Cancer has affected my life in ways I wish it never had. I've lost grandparents, and close friends to this awful disease, and I know so many others who have experienced the same heartbreak. Running this race is my way of honouring their memory and helping to raise money for the incredible research that gives hope to so many families. Luckily there are many people in my life who have been able to beat this horrible disease and I know every donation, big or small, really does make a difference. Thank you so much for your support—it means more than you know

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
