2019 Asics Manchester Marathon
Sun 7 Apr 2019 - Sun 7 Apr 2019
Hi guys, Like many of you reading this story cancer has had an impact on my family, friends and loved ones in various forms. I will be running the Manchester Marathon in Aril 2019 to show my support and raise money for everybody that has had or been affected by cancer, be it directly or indirectly. I could'nt finish this story without mentioning my amazing Mom who battled Leukaemia in 2014 and friend Becky Giddins who sadly passed away after a long fight with cancer. Above all else my Mom showed me the true meaning of will power and determination on a superhuman level, something that will always remind me that regardless of how low your chips are, nothing is impossible and there is no giving up. From all of the heartache, tears and pain I have seen cancer cause I have also witnessed the love, friendship, solidarity and inspiration it can create in a much greater capacity. My aim is to complete the marathon in under 4 hours, however, I will do whatever it takes to cross the finish line and raise as much money as possible. Any donation will be hugely appreciated, even if its just a cheer or message of encouragement and f you see me out running give me a wave. Thank you for your support. Frazer
