My Story
Thanks for visiting our fundraising page. Us girls are walking 10,000 steps a day each for a month to help beat cancer sooner. Some of us will be busy walking down south in Limerick and some of us up north in Ballymena and Belfast so we'll be walking in both ends of the country. Help us Walk All Over Cancer and fund life-saving research by sponsoring us so that hopefully someday we will finally rid the world of cancer and the heartache that comes with it. We have all been touched in some way by cancer, through a friend, neighbour or family member. Ciara is also doing this as part of achieving her Mother Teresa Award where she is doing simple acts of love reflecting the wonderful work Mother Teresa did in her life. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
